A Little Bit About QuickSilver CopyWritersWe understand it's hard to work with someone you don't know. So we'd like to give you some insight into who we are.
Shawn has been writing ever since she discovered the difference between a noun and a verb and fell irreversibly in love with words. Though publication was hard won, her fiction has appeared in the noted periodicals Woman's World and Standard.
She has also contributed articles to local newspapers. To support her writing obsession, she worked for many years in the customer service and admin fields. She brings creativity, organization, strong listening skills and a flair for turning thoughts into words to QuickSilver CopyWriters.
Besides working on three novels and considering penning a couple of nonfiction books, Shawn has added a blog to her personal portfolio. It describes the experiences she and Andy encountered while rehabbing a house. Mostly "what-not-tos," but it's a fun read anyhow.
Andy's love of language and passion for ideas characterize his approach to the marketplace. Beginning with his days as a National Merit Scholar and Philosophy Major at the University of Florida (Go Gators!), Andy has worked--and played--in a variety of industries, including a rough-necking stint in the oil fields of Wyoming.
Since 1987 he has held positions in management and sales as well as a partnership in a popular restaurant and sports bar in Cody, Wyoming (where he met Shawn--but that's another story). His contributions to QuickSilver CopyWriters include: humor, curiosity, solid business and investigative skills, and an ability to get things done.
Andy hit his stride, or perhaps better put, he's found his specialty in long copy sales letters. He's helped a number of clients improve their sites and their rankings as well. He's also been pulling some late nights developing ideas he's had to take our business to the next level. Though not yet ready for the public eye, stay tuned, because this is some good stuff and you won't want to miss it!
In September 2006, Andy and Shawn were brought on as VP of Marketing and Operations and VP of Client Services for Michel Fortin's Success Doctor.
